This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump also includes a bronze wear ring, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports. The rear pullout design facilitates maintenance without removing system piping.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 145 JM frame style with feet. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. This pump configuration maintains a DOE PEI of 0.83.
