This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump features a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid, as well as flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The unit is constructed without a wear ring.
The pump is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor is configured in a 182 JM frame style with feet and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This unit utilizes an across-the-line starting option and features CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements per MG1-12.55, while the pump holds a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
