This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with center-line discharge for air venting. The unit integrates a bronze impeller dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3 and a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Engineered with a dry shaft design, the assembly prevents circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and operates at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F.
Powered by a 40 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM with Aegis grounding, the electrical configuration handles 380-460V 3PH power input with a DOE PEI of 0.48. The "S" in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
