This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing housing contains sealed-for-life ball bearings and includes pressure tappings on both suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 284T frame. The power supply is 230-460V/60/3PH, featuring an across the line starting option. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. It is configured for counter-clockwise rotation with a 40°C ambient rating. The pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
