This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 7-1/4" bronze impeller. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design utilizes a slip-on shaft sleeve, a dry shaft configuration, and flush seal line taps for system maintenance.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP motor. It uses a TEFC Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet, configured for a 230-460V/60/3 power supply. The motor includes a drip cover, AEGIS shaft grounding, and operates in 40 °C ambient conditions. This assembly meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The unit provides a PEI of 0.83 and utilizes across-the-line starting.
