This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal assembly utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is housed in a NEMA 284TS frame and is configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power. The system includes across the line starting, an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, and a premium efficiency rating that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. The pump has a PEI of 0.91 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
