This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and promotes self-venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60Hz/3PH with an across the line starting option. It uses a JM motor frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump supports a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F and has a DOE PEI of 0.91. The motor conforms to NEMA standards for premium efficiency under MG1-12.55.
