This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and includes a bronze wear ring. The pump is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and the assembly is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 254 T-frame. The power requirement is 230-460/60/3 PH with an across-the-line starting option. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI of 0.91.
