This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor, NEMA 145 T frame, operating at 1750 RPM. Electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit has a PEI of 0.88 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
