This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in venting.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 145 JM frame style with feet. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH, suitable for 40°C ambient environments. The motor meets NEMA standards, provides premium efficiency ratings in compliance with MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is configured for across the line operation.
