This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. This unit is built without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 364TS frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
