This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller. The pump assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The bearing housing contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 145T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The unit features a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump has a PEI value of 0.85.
