This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a bronze wear ring and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft.
The system is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213T frame. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and a Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.89 and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with CCW rotation.
