This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing with a 125 PSI pressure rating and an integrated replaceable bronze wear ring. The assembly incorporates a bronze impeller dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3 and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This dry shaft design prevents circulating fluid from contacting the internal shaft. A mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat and EPT rubber components maintains fluid integrity, supporting operation up to 250°F. The casing includes suction and discharge gauge ports to facilitate system monitoring.
The system utilizes a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, equipped with Aegis grounding, and powered by 200-230V / 3PH electricity, providing a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
