This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH with across the line starting. The motor is mounted in a 324TS NEMA frame and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The unit is supported by a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard with a Woods coupler. This system meets premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55, maintains a PEI value of 0.9, and is configured for 40°C ambient temperature operation.
