This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections fitted with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal construction incorporates a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor is mounted in a 213 T-frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and premium efficiency ratings that meet MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly is installed on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model has an ambient temperature rating of 40°C and a Department of Energy (DOE) Pump Energy Index (PEI) value of 0.85.
