This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft and a slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps. This unit features a rear pullout design and top center line discharge to facilitate maintenance and piping installation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 184 JM frame with feet, AEGIS shaft grounding, and premium efficiency ratings. The electrical supply is 230-460/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor functions in a 40°C ambient environment and complies with NEMA standards. This pump configuration maintains a PEI of 0.89 and supports a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F.
