This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection for integration into system piping.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor in a 284TS NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. This motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH electrical service and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including MG1-12.55 compliance with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler for across-the-line starting. The system has a DOE PEI value of 0.91 and functions within a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
