This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This mechanical design incorporates a dry shaft that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The unit uses a ceramic seat mechanical seal with EPT rubber and is rated for 125 PSI operation.
Powered by a 20 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC motor, this pump operates at 1750 RPM and incorporates Aegis grounding, a 380-460V 3PH power supply, and a DOE PEI rating of 0.48. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
