This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring, a stainless steel shaft, and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal sealing is provided by a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump uses a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and features a NEMA 215 T-frame enclosure. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes a Woods coupler for power transmission. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a coupler guard. This model maintains a PEI of 0.87 and complies with NEMA standards for premium efficiency as defined in MG1-12.55.
