This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is configured with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge reduces piping strain.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is built on a 213 JM frame with feet and requires 230-460/60/3 PH power. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. The pump is configured for across the line starting and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
