This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and buna rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 225°F. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and integrated gauge ports on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP motor. It features a TEFC NEMA 286 T-frame motor from WEG, configured for a 380/60/3 power supply. The unit is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
