This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3PH power and utilizes an across-the-line starting option. The motor is NEMA premium efficiency compliant, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected via a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
