This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The pump is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps for maintenance.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP, 3PH motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V power supply and utilizes a NEMA 256 T-frame. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler with a guard. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump system has a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
