This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction port and a 3" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7 1/4" bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for clean water up to 300°F. The rear pullout design enables maintenance without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge assists in self-venting and reduces piping strain. Flush seal line taps are included for optional filter installation.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured with a 184 JM motor frame with feet. The unit supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
