This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM on 200V/60Hz/3PH power. It utilizes a NEMA 145 T-frame and is configured for across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is NEMA premium efficiency compliant, meeting MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit maintains a PEI rating of 0.81 and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature.
