This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal containing a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water applications. The assembly uses a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor with a NEMA 145T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/3PH power supply and supports across the line starting. The unit includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding, a 40°C ambient temperature rating, and compliance with NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This equipment has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.81.
