This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. Utilizing a dry shaft design, the assembly isolates the shaft from circulating fluids and maintains a pressure rating of 125 PSI without a wear ring. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal manages fluid containment at the shaft interface.
The motor provides 60 HP and utilizes a premium efficiency, TEFC enclosure design operating at 1750 RPM, complemented by Aegis grounding, and receives power from a 200-230V 3PH supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
