This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter and includes a stainless steel shaft fitted with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which provides a temperature rating of up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a 286T NEMA T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump uses a Woods coupler and features greasable bearings within the bearing frame. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.97.
