This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port. The unit includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter impeller constructed of bronze. The pump casing consists of cast iron and includes ANSI Class 125 flanges with a bronze wear ring. The design incorporates a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It uses a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the top centerline discharge design facilitates self-venting.
The pump uses a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a 215 JM frame with feet. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. Starting is configured for across the line operation. The unit has a PEI value of 0.87.
