This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump is constructed with a dry shaft design, incorporating a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a 213JM frame style including feet, operating on 230/460V, 3PH power at 60Hz. It features a rear pullout design and top center line discharge to simplify piping. The electrical system meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The ambient temperature rating is 40°C, with the motor configured for across the line starting. This pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.84.
