This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter housed within a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the shaft. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. It features flush seal line taps and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 254 JM frame with feet, and an AEGIS shaft grounding device. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is rated for operation in a 40°C ambient environment. The system utilizes a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option and counter-clockwise rotation.
