This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The design incorporates a dry shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows servicing without disturbing system piping. The discharge is positioned at the top center line to facilitate venting.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is a 213 JM frame style with feet and is configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and features standard CCW rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI of 0.84.
