This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber accommodates fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping, and flush seal line taps are included to allow for the installation of a filter. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features across-the-line starting. The motor uses a 254 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit complies with NEMA standards, operates at a 40°C ambient temperature, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. This pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
