This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The pump uses a dry shaft design that incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is suitable for clean water applications up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 324T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This assembly has a Pump Energy Index (PEI) of 0.93.
