This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design includes a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact with the shaft, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 286 JM frame style with feet and provides premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump maintains an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C, a maximum fluid temperature of 250 °F, and a PEI value of 0.92.
