This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The assembly uses a slip-on stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies the piping layout and promotes self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and uses a 254JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and 250°F fluid temperature. The motor starting option is across the line, and the pump maintains a PEI of 0.92.
