This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This construction supports fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is configured with a rear pullout design and top center line discharge to facilitate maintenance and simplify piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are provided to allow for the installation of a filter.
The pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM. This motor is configured for a 575V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and features AEGIS shaft grounding with a 184 JM frame style including feet. The pump is configured for across the line starting and operates within a 40 °C ambient environment while meeting NEMA standards. The unit adheres to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
