This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 1-1/2" suction, and a 1-1/4" discharge. The pump utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft fitted with a bronze shaft sleeve. It is constructed with a mechanical seal comprising a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 256 T frame. It connects to the motor using a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard and is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. The system is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI value of 0.9.
