This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing containing a bronze wear ring and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections and integral mounting feet.
The unit is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor mounted in a 254 T frame. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and connects via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan. This configuration has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
