This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The construction includes a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design, which prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A flush seal line tap is provided to allow for filter installation. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting and simplified piping layouts.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is built on a 284 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. This unit has a PEI value of 0.97.
