This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings to support the rotating assembly.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a standard Woods coupler and coupler guard. This equipment meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
