This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. Construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration is utilized for the piping layout.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a 256 JM frame with feet. The motor features an ODP enclosure and operates on 230-460V, 3PH, 60 Hz power. It includes an across-the-line starting option and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. The system operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI of 0.89.
