This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates greasable bearings and is manufactured without a wear ring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 405T frame. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and features an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. The electrical configuration is 460/60/3 with across the line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is secured with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model has a PEI value of 0.93.
