This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump features a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 256T frame. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a protective OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The bearing frame contains greasable bearings to facilitate operation. This configuration meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards for clean water applications.
