This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and features flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 145 T frame. It connects to a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit has a PEI value of 0.88.
