This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design integrates a dry shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber elements to maintain fluid integrity, operating at a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring. This pump utilizes center-line discharge for air venting and includes gauge ports at both suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
Powered by a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, the assembly utilizes Aegis grounding and runs on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, achieving a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
