This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It uses a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This model is constructed with a rear pullout design and top centerline discharge, and it includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections as well as flush seal line taps.
The unit is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor, operating at 3450 RPM on 380V/60/3PH power. It is configured with a JM style motor frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements, with a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The system uses an across-the-line starting configuration. The pump assembly maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
