This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is a premium efficiency model that meets MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and possesses a PEI of 0.91. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top centerline discharge supports self-venting.
