This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, both configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump utilizes a 7-1/4" bronze impeller and includes a bronze shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design. It is equipped with a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This assembly supports fluid temperatures up to 250°F and features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top centerline discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor. It features a TEFC enclosure and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor uses a 182JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump meets NEMA standards and complies with efficiency requirements defined in MG1-12.55. This configuration is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.93.
